City Snapshot: Paris in Black and White

I just love the colors of Paris.  I call them “map colors” because they remind me of the pastels of a vintage map – soft blues, muted greens, eggshell whites, gentle greys, and lots of shades of tan and beige.  I actually designed this entire website around that exact color palette of the Paris in my mind.  However, Paris in black and white has a mystery of its own.  Dark, gritty, mysterious, and sophisticated.  If you’re a fan of Paris in black and white, I recommend checking out the work of famed photographer Brassaï, who rose to fame with his amazing images of Paris life.  I have his books Paris and Paris by Night, both of which are stunning.
