Chocolat chaud (aka hot chocolat) from the famous Angelinas tea room. Angelinas is best know for serving chocolat l’ancienne, a style of hot chocolate where you are brought a bot of melted chocolate and a pot of cream, and you mix them together yourself to fit your personal preferences. Instead of liquid cream, Angelinas brings a small cup of fresh whipped cream, and their portrait of chocolate are very generous (enough for two cups). On a cold, windy, wet Paris winter day, there’s nothing better! The original Angelinas is located on Rue de Rivoli, but there are also outposts at Versailles (both in the main chateau and the Grand Trianon).
